Josh McDonald from the Irrewarra Cricket Club was awarded with the 2022/23 Bill Johnston Medal. This awarded to the player who is judged as the Best & Fairest player in Division One, as voted on by the umpires. Josh won the award on 15 votes with Farooq Qureshi (Stoneyford CC) and Charlie McGuane (Irrewarra CC) finishing equal Runners Up on 11 votes.
